Woolworths has been working closely with us throughout the planning stages of the Freshwater Village development. Wattle Run is very pleased to announce Woolworths, the anchor tenant for Freshwater Village, Griffin, with the supermarket expected to open in late 2026.
Woolworths will open a 3314 sqm full-line supermarket with a full range of groceries, fresh meat, bakery, deli, frozen goods, fresh fruit, and vegetables - also, a BWS liquor located in the foyer entry.
While the range at Woolworths at Freshwater Village is yet to be confirmed, the neighbourhood stores usually offer a mix of high-quality locally produced fresh food and everyday pantry supplies for customers looking for a quick and easy shop.
The Village will have something for everyone, including not only Woolworths and BWS but a Piazza for alfresco dining and entertainment. Also, it will include your everyday necessities, health services, and a medical centre.
We expect to be able to announce other businesses joining us at Freshwater Village in the near future.
Wattle Run had envisaged an 18-month build starting in mid-2025.
