Construction Update on Brays Road, Griffin - Important Message to Motorists - postponed to Sunday, 2/11/25.

The upgrade to Brays Road and the intersection with Cairns Road and the new connecting road, Arcadia Drive, is progressing well. The next stage of construction is now upon us.
This next stage necessitates the closure of the right-hand turn into Cairns Road, heading east. This closure of the right-hand turn is required to complete the new pavements in the widened section on the northern verge (eastbound direction) while minimising disruption to through traffic during construction.
The closure of the right-hand turn into Cairns Road will commence starting Sunday, 2/11/25., and is expected to be in place until mid-December 2025.
The map shows the two detours available to motorists for accessing the housing estate to the south of Brays Road.
We urge motorists and pedestrians in the vicinity of these works to take extra care. We appreciate the patience of the public and motorists during this time.
