CONSTRUCTION UPDATE ON BRAYS ROAD, GRIFFIN – IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO MOTORISTS

Our civil contractor, Hall Civil, has made steady progress upgrading Brays Road and the intersection that joins with the new connecting road, Arcadia Drive, at Griffin, despite weather being a significant challenge.

Hall Civil are planning and will soon be completing the relocation of some services impacted by the widening of Brays Road.  To be able to complete this work, Hall Civil will be starting to prepare for construction on the southern verge (westbound direction) of Brays Road. Services are not being disrupted during this relocation work.  If there are any planned outages, Hall Civil will notify affected residents. 

Additionally, to progress the construction of the new connecting road, Arcadia Drive, haulage of bulk materials onto the construction site from Brays Road will commence.  Hall Civil will be extending the existing driveway at the site office to allow this haulage to occur, and then the frequency of deliveries to site using heavy vehicles will increase.
